Elul Prayer

Elul 5783

 

Dear Heavenly Father, in the treasured Name of Jesus, we pray to You in this final month of 5783. 

We pray that the manifested Presence of Jesus in the person of the Holy Spirit 

would permeate our very beings to the fullest this month. 

The King is in the Field and we pray that we would come to a fresh understanding 

of His Divine Purpose and Presence in us. 

John tells us, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

All things were made through Him, and without Him, nothing was made that was made. 

In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, 

the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” 

As You fill us with the truth, with grace, with light, with life, 

Thank You that Your glory is alive in us.

We pray that You would impart into us an additional powerful anointing of intercession~

We pray Your Word in Psalm 27 this month: 

“The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? 

The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? …

One thing I have desired of the LORD, That will I seek: 

That I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my life, 

To behold the beauty of the LORD, And to inquire in His temple. 

For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; 

In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; 

He shall set me high upon a rock…

I would have lost heart unless I had believed 

That I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living. 

Wait on the LORD; 

Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; 

Wait, I say, on the LORD!”

 

As we wait on You Lord, our prayer is to remain within Your Spirit, Your wisdom, Your understanding, 

Your counsel, Your might, Your knowledge. It is in the fear of the Lord that we live and breathe. (Is 11:2). 

With these seven kingly priestly attributes and the higher level of anointing, 

we pray to speak boldly the oracles of God in Jesus Name. 

We pray to intercede for the nations from an ordained Kingdom position.   

We break open our heart to You Lord… 

We submit ourselves fully unto You as we seek to stay with You in Your dwelling place. 

We pray that we would move into a new and deeper intimate understanding of Your Word in 

Song of Solomon declares, “I am my beloved’s, And my beloved is mine…..”

We pray according to Your Word in 1 John that we would intimately know and believe Your love for us. 

Thank You that Holy Spirit has shed Your Love abroad in our hearts. (Rom 5:5)

Lord, we purpose in our hearts to rest in Your Love.  

We trust Your love and we love You.

All of this and more we pray in the Loving, Holy, Matchless Name of our King, Our Lord, Jesus Christ!
